Buckner United Methodist Church

The mission of BUMC is to celebrate the presence of Jesus
Christ and to proclaim His message to all.

web. At Buckner UMC we are committed to sharing the love
of Christ, helping others grow in their faith, and celebrating
the presence of the Holy Spirit. We are a caring community
of Christians who reach out to our community and the world.
Everyone is welcome to worship and fellowship with us on
Sunday mornings. We would love to meet you and get the
chance to know you and your family. Buckner UMC is an
established congregation that is growing once again. We
have new programs starting for children, youth and adults of
all ages. During our morning worship on Sundays, we now
offer a nursery and children’s church. This time allows for
parents to relax and enjoy their worship experience while our
children experience a worship service of their own. We invite
you to check us out some Sunday and experience first hand
the love of Christ.

Exciting Ministries Coming
There are some very exciting ministries that will begin in
2007. One of those programs is the Joyful Summer Day
Camp. This is a day camp for elementary age students.
The program will run all summer from 6 A.M. - 6:30 P.M.
All of the teachers for this program have many years of
experience working and running a day camp. They are
also all teachers in the public school system. For more
information on the day camp, please call the church
office.

Welcome Baby Grace
BUMC is proud to announce the new ministry to young
teens faced with becoming a parent. This exciting new
ministry reaches out to these teens in a loving Christian
way to help them face the challenges ahead. Baby
Grace is a ministry of BUMC and sponsored by the
United Methodist Women. For more information, contact
